CAMPO Board of Directors
Function
The CAMPO Board of Directors is responsible for making sure federal and state dollars spent on existing and future transportation projects and programs are based on a continuing, cooperative and comprehensive transportation planning process. Committed to meaningful public engagement throughout this process, the MPO Board is responsible for establishing priorities to meet short-term (next 5 years) and long-term (20+ years) multi-modal transportation needs for the area.

The purpose of the Technical Committee is to analyze issues arising during the conduct of the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization from a technical perspective, make recommendations to the Board of Directors, and to provide a linkage between planning and implementation.
