The contest is limited to residents within the city limits who have completed an entry form by December 8th at 12:00 pm. In addition to our regular contest, you can be included on our non-competitive, City-wide Christmas Lights Tour. If you would like to have your home listed on the Tour, please fill out the entry form and check the box stating that you would like to be included in the Tour only. Contest rules along with entry forms will be available several times in News Tribune publications or at Parks and Recreation starting in November.
December 7: Registration Deadline at 12:00 pm.
December 11: A map of homes and businesses published in edition of the News Tribune.
December 11-13: judging all of the entries by Ward takes place 6:00 - 10:00 pm.
December 14-15: First and second place Ward winners will receive a sign that will be placed in their yard.
December 14-16: judging of first place Ward winners for Citywide contest takes place 6:00 - 10:00 pm.
December 17-19: plaques given to best display in each category.
December 23: Winners announced in News Tribune.
