Visual Art Academy classes consist of hands on painting, drawing, cartooning, clay and many other mediums taught by local professional artists and art teachers.
Students will break into groups and work with different mediums and instructors throughout the day. The classes will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the air-conditioned McClung Park Pavilion. Supervision will be available at 8 a.m. and after class until 4 p.m. sharp.
Each student needs to bring a brown bag lunch and drink. The students should wear clothes that art material will not harm. For more information, contact: Kathleen Stroup at (573) 230-5846 or Parks and Recreation at (573) 634-6482.Camp Location: McClung Park indoor pavilion, 1115 Chestnut Street
