Over the years the Jefferson City Fire Department has developed groups of members that receive specialized training to better serve the citizens of Jefferson City and beyond.  These groups include: 

SORT  (Special Operations Response Team)

Water rescue
  • swift water
  • boat operations
Honor Guard
  • Post and display colors at events
  • Attend and assist at past and present firefighters funerals
