City of Jefferson Wastewater Rates to change in July

Bills have been updated using the average of the three winter months, January, February, and March to calculate usage for residential accounts. A 5% rate increase on each bill (inside city limits) at $12.74 base rate + $3.85 per 100 cubic feet usage (or 748 gallons).  Customers outside of the city limits base rate is $38.22 + $3.85 per 100 cubic feet usage (or 748 gallons).  All customers can have their bill explained or evaluated by calling 573-634-6328 and speak to a customer representative.
