Up to $50,000 Grants Available for Childcare Facilities

The City of Jefferson received $413,435 in CARES Act funding through its Entitlement Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. Through a public engagement process, childcare facilities were identified as an area of need, in which was negatively impacted by COVID-19. 

Licensed childcare facilities and those wishing to open a licensed childcare facility are encouraged to apply.  Completed applications are due October 31, 2021.
