Primitive Camping

Three primitive camping sites are located in North Jefferson Recreation Area. Positioned along the northern bank of the Missouri River, they are in close proximity to Carl R. Noren Missouri River Access, Katy Trail State Park, and the Missouri River pedestrian/bike bridge .

The primitive campground is available for drop-in stays only (no reservations accepted). Cost is $5 per night. Payments can be left at the kiosk located near the trailhead to the sites.

Amenities at each site include a fire pit, log seating, picnic table, and lamp pole.
