Jefferson City Fire Department at Firefighter Day

Members of the Jefferson City Fire Department joined with firefighters from across Missouri at the Capitol for a day of recognition. Governor Parson along with other state officials highlighted the service of women who serve in fire departments throughout the state.

Members of the Jefferson City Fire Department participated in the honor guard and sat in the stands of the crowded rotunda at the Capitol as Governor Parson read a proclamation declaring March 26^th, Firefighters’ Day.
