2023 CDBG Annual Action Plan

Projects must principally benefit low-moderate-income persons and work towards goals and outcomes identified in the Consolidated Plan. Funding outlined in this Action Plan will be active January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2024.

The City of Jefferson is currently in Year 5 of the 2019-2023 Consolidated Plan. A review of past Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Reports (CAPER) revealed a strong focus on community needs that continue to exist including aging housing, infrastructure, and neighborhood improvements. The attached table gives a snapshot of the activities completed up to and including 2022.

The City anticipates to receive $268,051 for Fiscal Year 2023. A survey was available to gather input about the needs of our community.  Survey results may be accessed via this link.

A public meeting was held on May 4, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, John G Christy Municipal Building, 320 E McCarty Street, Jefferson City, MO 65101 to discuss the survey results.
